HOW TO PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS ON CRAIGSLIST

If you are looking for one of the best ways to promote nearly ANYTHING online, you can't neglect YOUTUBE from your marketing arsenal.

CRAIGSLIST is the EIGHT MOST VISITED WEBSITE IN THE USA.That means BILLIONS of eyes could view your content.
When posting on Craigslist , it is recommended to post in either of the following  categories depending on whether you want  to promote the BENEFITS or the BUSINESS

• Service>Automotive
• Service>Small Business
• Jobs>Sales
• Jobs>Etc
• Jobs>Part Time
• Resumes
• Community 

Keep in  mind that when posting in the JOBS category, people are typically looking for just that, a typical ''JOB" and not necessarily an online non-standard venture. It may be important in this note when creating post  that state "work from home" or "work online". Also note, Craigslist has blocked phrases  and URL's in regard  to MCA so make sure  your listing (especially text based listings) include these as they will have a high probability of getting flagged or even blocked from posting, potentially limiting or blocking  your own Craigslist account.

Avoid using Text Ads  with words motor club of america, mca, tvcmatrix, work from home, work online etc.

If  you are using any capture page system many of these URL's have been blocked. WHY?because  100's or 1000's of people are promoting  the same domain name, the only difference being  the ending  where their affiliate name id is. To do this, it is 100% HIGHLY RECOMMENDED TO GET YOUR OWN PERSONAL DOMAIN NAME and forward it to your capture page if you choose to use  links in your postings.

Also when creating your ad, you use wither the following styles in regards to providing them a method contact you and create your ad:

• No Links in the ad, but you provide a reply-to address in the ad ( maybe susceptible to scraping others)
• Text Links in the ad ( Maybe susceptible to word blocking on flagging by Craigslist or competition; quicker  to post and the person veiwing the ad to follow through to your website)
• MY RECOMMENDATION
• Imagine ads with contact no e-mail(less likely to be flagged, cant be text scanned especially if you use custom URL's, more attractive to the user)
• Imagine ads with contact e-mail ( less likely to be  flagged , especially if  you use  custom URL's, more attractive to the user, could be scraped, provides additional way for viewer to contact you

The BIGGEST  Frustration of Craigslist is GHOSTING and FLAGGING

There is no 100% way to avoid this.First of all ANY ad can be Flagged , whether it is free or paid. PAID ADS are required in the certain categories in the large metropolitan areas. You can view this list at

CRAIGSLIST was designed for people to post locally in there own areas, but of course you want to post Everywhere. In order to do this, you may need to do numerous things or invest in products to allow you to do just that.I can't guarantee all methods will work because CRAIGLIST IS ALWAYS DESIGN BEHIND THE SCENES- WHAT WORKS TODAY MAY NOT WORK TOMORROW.

• Using ccleaner to clean your cookies and browsing history after every post.
• Creating Multiple E-mail addresses to use  for each region you can post into.(You can use GMAIL)
• Using a program such as HIDING MY ASS to change the IP address to the area you trying to post in.
•  Having access to MULTIPLE PHONE NUMBERS to use for phone verification of your Craigslist accounts. you can use your house phone, friends phone,cellphone etc. You can also go to the local Walmart and get a Trac-phone , or one of those phones that allow you to change phone numbers. Some people recommend  buying phone verified accounts, ask PVA's. These  are phones  which you can buy and they will be forwarded to a number of your choice.They  can sometimes be expensive, but worth it if you get conversions or sales of your product. one such site can get them from is PVASPOT.
•    Investing in CraigslistADTracker,    which allow you to create image ads, track your ads to see if they live, rotate your ads, make your ads, especially imagines  unique and obfuscated. This is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as i use this for EVERY AD I POST ON CRAIGSLIST
• You should look into posting on average no more  than 3 ads per account per 48 hours. You can probably post more, and some have, but that's up to you how frequently you decide to do it.

If you try to post nationwide on your own computer, you'll probably end up with ad ghosted( which means you may be able  to manually go to the link, but they dont show up in the listing. Also you risk having your IP address, phone number, and /or e-mail put on Craigslist's blacklist(NOT what you'd ever want)
