NEWSPAPERS

If you looking to take your marketing efforts offline, you can not neglect probably the most viewed offline document, A NEWSPAPER.

You've probably seen the classified ad in the  newspapers  or in the smaller publications and circulars at a bus stop, gas station, mall, in the grocery store, and all over the place. Placing an ad in the newspaper can be a very effective method of paid OFFLINE marketing, Especially if you decide to market in a classified publication with a VERY HIGH CIRCULATION....

One very popular Classified Newspaper for example is the THRIFTY NICKEL which is published nationwide. It may have a similar name in certain regions of the country, but you can usually place an ad for just a few dollars per city. In some cases, you can publish in regions or nationwide. However, keep in mind when posting a classified ad you will have a limited amount of  words you can use. You will usually  get 25 words , so make sure your ad is STRAIGHT TO THE POINT and EFFECTIVE. Most of the time including a website address is considered two words, but varies between sites and publications.
